DECLARED OFF

The wrestling match between Prof. Christol and Gelder has been declared off. Mr. Christol has heard that there are reports going about that the match is to be faked, and he refuses to wrestle under the circumstances.

Prof. Christol intends to locate in Reno and is sorry that he cannot give the people here an exhibition of wrestling without having the cry of fake raised. He has written to Mr. Gelder, offering to wrestle him elsewhere at any date and place he may choose. The match would certainly be an interesting one and it is a good event lost to the sport loving element of the town.
